Role overview
We are looking for an experienced communicator to join the marketing department as our Marketing Manager. The position will be a fast-paced and varied role for a confident and highly organised marketeer that includes delivering campaigns and projects with commercial understanding and creative vision.
Suited to a self-starter with a strong sense of accountability, you will be working in an agile international business environment, able to communicate confidently and work collaboratively to build effective relationships with our global sales teams, external agencies and customers.
Key responsibilities
- Creation and management of the content calendar/plan in conjunction with our external content agency. This will involve planning across all channels including social (organic and paid), web and e-mail.
- Identify and share key activities and events and be involved in idea creation for new campaigns.
- Assisting in the creation of added value tools and brand materials to enable our sales team and customers to activate Astro in-line with brand guidelines.
- Managing the delivery of events, exhibitions, and collaboration opportunities.
- Leading the organisation of our annual global sales conference.
- Supporting the Head of Brand & Communications with new product launches including co-ordination of product copy and launch activities.
- Implementing the agreed yearly advertising plan for both digital and print.
- Main contact for our global distribution partners and direct customers in terms of being their day-to-day marketing contact for queries, general marketing support, product launches and issuing campaign assets as per our critical path.
- Contribute to monthly reporting and understand the impact of marketing activities against predefined KPIs.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with a multitude of internal stakeholders from various disciplines i.e. sales, product management and design.
- Championing a digital-first mindset for all marketing initiatives, keeping abreast of evolving trends and best practices in the industry.
About you
- Previous experience in a broad marketing role which included responsibility for developing and delivering an integrated digital strategy.
- Experience of working in a B2B and/or B2B2C environment with a multi-region and multi-channel presence.
- High-level of copywriting with the ability to generate and create engaging on-brand content.
- Experience in project managing a range of activities at any one time for multiple markets and customer types.
- Good analytical skills with a broad understanding of marketing metrics.
- A marketing, PR, or Communications qualification is preferred.
