One of the most exciting boutique hotel refurbishments in the British capital has included bedroom lighting from Astro. The superbly detailed 11 Cadogan Gardens in Chelsea includes Astro's Azumi Reader and Tate wall lamp in the refurbished suites.
Designer JSJ Design said: "The lighting design throughout the public areas and the rooms and suites is intended to create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. We've created several levels of lighting from pendant, to wall, floor and table lighting. Additional layers are added in areas where there is less natural light and can be adjusted to suit different times of day or night."
Astro is certainly in demand for London hotels, with recent installations including the Goring, Hilton Canary Wharf and Park Lane, Renaissance St Pancras, Royal Garden and Eccleston Square hotels, the latter being described by Conde Nast Traveller as Europe's "most high tech hotel".
The Tate wall lamp itself was inspired by one of the most evocative features of the Southbank skyline.
