Wearing creative passion on our walls
An eclectic collection of paintings, drawings and installations by local artists is helping to make Astro's new headquarters an even more inspiring place to visit and work.
Thanks to an art hire scheme with the local Parndon Mill Gallery in Harlow, Astro is wearing its creative passion on its walls.
Parndon Mill provides workspace for artists, craftspeople, designers and architects to share ideas and use their skills to collaborate on projects. Astro is delighted to support their work.
Artists featured at Astro include Graham Boyd, Hilary Owers and Chris Seaber who work in various media.
Currently showing at Parndon Mill (until 7th August 2016) is CHAOS THEORY, an exhibition of cast glass sculpture by HEIKE BRACHLOW who exhibits her work here as well as internationally.
Heike's work reflects her attraction to movement and transformation, both in colour and form. The pieces are often precariously balanced and can be set in various positions, many of which change colour when exposed to different light sources.
