Astro's Verona wall light plays a cameo role in Spectre, the latest film in the James Bond franchise. Glimpsed in the epic train-fight scene, the Verona lights fitted in the bathroom and bar and were supplied by Lighting Styles of Stamford, Rutland.
The elegantly simple polished chrome Verona creates a "travel-in-style" ambiance as it stands out, without shouting out, from the dark wood panelling of the train's classic interior.
While Bond and most of the fittings get a bit of a pasting at the hands of the villainous, steel-thumbed Mr Hinks, the Veronas appear to survive intact. Ultimately of course, Bond emerges victorious, too. Quality will out.
