Role overview

As Marketing Communications Co-ordinator you will support our Head of Brand and the Campaigns Manager in delivering the global marketing plan to raise our brand profile and increase customer engagement. A busy and varied role, we are looking for someone who is prepared to take the initiative and is not afraid to get stuck in. Responsibilities

  • Initial point of contact for the marketing team servicing the marketing inbox daily and requests from both customers and sales teams.
  • Writing and editing brand and product copy under the guidance of the Content Manager.
  • Creating and scheduling social content and executing daily community management across Meta platforms and LinkedIn.
  • Deploying email marketing campaigns to all audiences, creating copy and scheduling sends in line with the communications schedule.
  • Consulting with third-party agencies to provide supporting materials for bespoke projects and monthly briefs.
  • Collating and evaluating analytics across email and social activities and supporting in creation of monthly department reporting and campaign analytics.
  • Working alongside the internal graphics team to deliver digital artwork and brand materials for campaigns and product launches.
  • Responsible for upkeep of our marketing library ensuring presentations, profiles and platforms are up to date with relevant product and brand information.
  • Assisting with the production and delivery of marketing literature, ensuring our partners and sales teams have access to appropriate materials.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives and create a positive working environment.
  • Working as part of the wider marketing department to deliver ad-hoc tasks and the global events calendar, including management of logistics and surrounding communications.

About You

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator with the following skills and experience. Someone who can demonstrate experience working in a communications and administrative role, supporting a busy team who has a high level of copywriting and co-ordination experience. You'll need to be someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills who can organise and prioritise their own workload and have previous experience of creating content for multiple outputs. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will need to have a flexible approach and respond to the needs of the team.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a marketing, PR, or communications driven role or department.
  • Experience in content creation for social media channels. Paid advertising experience would be a benefit, but is not essential.
  • An understanding of social analytics, web or email reporting would also be an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the use of content management systems and social scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of and ability to identify, keep up to date with and recommend best practices and industry trends.
  • Demonstrable creativity with an eye for design and detail.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • An organised approach to work with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising workload effectively.
  • Qualification or relevant degree with a marketing or communications focus, desirable but not essential.
