Private Residence, Stroud, UK

A Georgian farmhouse in Stroud, transformed by Architect George Clarke on Channel 4 programme Old House, New Home, showcases a truly stunning example of a re-imagined historic building.

Alongside Clarke, the owners of the property set out to create a home which preserved original features and incorporated an industrial-style extension; intertwining history with modern design.

One prominent example of this is a hand-dug well, which was uncovered during renovations, and is now proudly displayed beneath a circular glass pane in a reception room. Strategically illuminated, the space features Bayville Single Spotlights in striking matt black, positioned around the walls of the well.

Elsewhere in the property, a trio of Ginestra pendants in matt white gently illuminate the kitchen island. The living room showcases a Cambria ceiling light in white fabric, which seamlessly integrates into the room design, and Mondrian lights are wall-mounted to direct focus to artwork adorning the rich emerald green walls.

In an upstairs children's bedroom, a Ginestra pendant helps disperse light through beautiful wooden beams, whilst Ascoli Swing wall lights are positioned perfectly to provide task lighting in key areas of the room.

Outside the front of the home, a Bronte light welcomes you into the property, whilst a back door is illuminated with a sleek Oslo wall light in matt black, a striking contrast to the Cotswold stonework.
